The engines of tractors and agricultural transport vehicles are equipped with air filters, oil filters and diesel filters, commonly known as three filters. The working quality of the three filters directly affects the working performance and service life of the engine. At present, there are quite a few drivers who do not perform maintenance and maintenance of the three filters according to the time and regulations required in the instructions, resulting in frequent engine failures and entering the maintenance period prematurely.
Key points for air filter maintenance. In addition to carefully maintaining the air filter in accordance with the time and operating requirements specified in the instruction manual, you should also pay attention to the following points
The guide grid of the air filter should remain undeformed and rust-free, and its inclination angle should be ~, if it is too small, the resistance will increase and affect the air intake; if it is too large, the airflow rotation will be weakened and the ability to separate dust will be reduced. The paint on the blade surface must not be peeled off to prevent oxidation particles from entering the cylinder. The direction of the dust outlet should be such that dust particles can be discharged.
During maintenance, the air mesh must be cleaned. For those with dust collection cups, the dust particles must not exceed the height of / , otherwise they should be removed in time. The mouth of the dust collection cup should be tightly sealed, and the rubber sealing strip must not be damaged or lost.
The oil level of the fine filter should comply with the standard. If it is too high, the oil will enter the cylinder and cause carbon deposits. If it is too low, the filtering effect will be reduced and the wear will be accelerated.
If the metal mesh in the fine filter is used instead, the diameter of the holes or metal wires can only be slightly smaller, not larger, and the filling volume must not be reduced, otherwise the filtration effect will be reduced.
There should be no air leakage in the air intake pipeline. Oil change and cleaning should be done in a windless and dust-free place. High-pressure air should be used to blow the filter in an environment with low humidity. The blowing direction should be consistent with the air entering the filter. When installed in opposite directions, the fold directions of adjacent filters should cross each other.
Key points for oil filter maintenance. The oil filter must be maintained according to the prescribed time, and the following points should be paid attention to the centrifugal oil filter. When maintaining the centrifugal fine filter, special attention should be paid to the installation after disassembly and cleaning ① There should be no blocking phenomenon. The inspection method is: after reinstalling the rotor, turn the rotor hard by hand. After letting go, the rotor can rotate freely and then stop, it is qualified. ② You can also install the fine filter on the car, start the engine, and run it at the rated speed for a few minutes. , when the oil temperature reaches ℃, then turn off the engine. At this time, listen outside the shell and the rotor continues to rotate for more than 10 minutes, which means the installation is qualified. If the above indicators are not met, the installation is unqualified and should be reassembled.
